, but I am bound by scripture to share God in the best way I know how. just how did that happen? did you sign an agreement? is it implicit in birth? am I bound by the same cord? if free will is the cornerstone of god's dominion over us, how is it that we can be bound by words whose origins are rooted in both murky deified mystery and clear human deciet! your post on speedos on bC, btw, seems to conflict with being "...bound by scripture to sahre god in the best way I know how...". without rehashing my entire history with david_tx, the main points of those specific two posts view seem to be so conflicted (to me anyway) that i guess the stress of being a plain old bL is nothing compared to being a "christian bL", if that is the moniker that goes with those bls so "bound by scripture". ;D each of us must find his own way. and in that context, phrases like "bound", "destined to", "it is written that" always ruffle my feathers when they are used in the context of "freeing myself by accepting god" when all too often it really means that I am supposed to "bind myself to yet another human contruct based on fear disguised as love of god, not true love". lvoe, tj |
