In watching BC on and off since its inception, I've seen many "BL is due to" theories advanced. Each gets some supporting data, each gets negating data. None holds up. The only thing consistent is that such an orientation indeed exists. A tremendous amount of energy is spent trying to answer the question "Why am I this way?" Personally, I think my life is much better now that I'm asking "How can I use this trait?" rather than "Why do I have it?" ---Ford |
