That the Bible says sex outside of marriage is sin? I agree that sex outside of marriage is a sin and I think that that rules out any sexual relationships other than between a married man and woman. Also when talking Jesus had picked up a child and placed them on His lap, while speaking about the millstone Well, I do not know if He placed the child on His lap, 'cause that isn't mentioned. It does say that He put the child in the midst of them and took him in His arms (but that doesn't really make any difference). He called the child to illustrate his point. The usage of analogies can hardly be considered uncommon in the Bible. For arguements sake, how do you interpret the verse if he did actually mean childeren? "But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." (my emphasis) Does this exclude the children who do not believe in God? Is it allright to cause them to sin? -zip- |
