Hi Mr. Smith, I agree with you that the term "boylover" is confusing. No you're not a boylover in the same way that the boylovers on this forum are. They are "minor attracted adults." Just as some same-sex-attracted people people that same-sex-relationships are wrong and therefore they either choose celibacy or they live a heterosexual life despite their ongoing struggle with same-sex-attractions, there are minor-attracted-adults who believe that adult-child sex is wrong and you've already met several of them. I'm a heterosexual woman, married 39 years, 3 kids, 3 grandchildren, who knows a lot of people with same-sex-attraction. Some of them believe same-sex-relationships are equal in value to heterosexual relationships and some of them believe that same-sex-relationships are a sin. Those who believe that same-sex-relationships are immoral must choose to either be celebate or to follow the exgay path, working toward diminishing same-sex-attractions and increased oppositite-sex-attractions. Usually people with same-sex-attractions have these attractions all of their lives, even if they marry and live heterosexual lives. In the last couple of days you have met a number of Christians who are minor-attracted-adults who have chosen to live celibate lives. I suspect that in general men who are attracted to minors will continue to have those attractions throughout their lives. However perhaps there is some fluidity to that orientation, and boylovers can also be sexually attracted to adult men or adult women. I don't know. (I would like to learn more about that - someone please inform me.) Most ministers know so little about this topic that they are at a loss to know how to provide pastoral support to boylovers, even those boylovers who wish to be celibate. This forum has been established so that boylovers can support each other in their Christian walk. At the top of this page you will find a link to "Paraklesis" which is the first issue of a newsletter for the Christian Boylove Forum. I learned a lot by readint the articles in that newsletter.
