You've left out the important detail of how old he is - the difference between 6 and 16 in this scenario is rather significant! My immediate reaction was to think you had been foolish to tell him you are a BL, but in the context of a specific question that's not easy to avoid. The other issue is whether he's talking to anyone else about the situation - though the fact that noone has arrived on your doorstep does suggest otherwise.

There's probably not a lot you can do at the moment except tell him that it's up to him what happens next and give him space to work through where he's at; you have to wait and see - never easy. If your friendship survives, you're going to be blessed with a really close friend. If he walks away from you, you're going to need the courage to trust God to sort things out in the long term. And you need to think a bit about how you'll react if he does tell other people and they start beating on your door, up to and including the police...

In the interim you'd probably do well to work on other peer relationships especially with Christians at your church so that they're in better nick to provide support if the wheel does fall off; not to the point of saying anything about your YF and what's happening, just space to have fun and relax.

But overall you're in the challenging place of having to trust God to get you through this. And in the long term He will - though there are no promises that it won't be a bumpy ride in the interim.
