I have belonged to or have gone to just about every denomination mostly because I moved so much growing up in foster and group homes. The Church that I go to now is an independent one and is a cross between a strict Baptist and a conservative pentecostal Church. They are very grounded in the Bible but the worship and preaching is much more open and lively.

I believe that the most important part of a church should be the love that they have for the Lord and the love that they have for others. And also that they believe in the Father Son and holy spirit and the saving grace of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. That anyone who believes and trusts in Jesus for their salvation is saved by his grace. And that all who are truly saved are all brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what denomination that they belong to.

I love the more open worship with a band and the preaching to be alive and not presented in a monotone and boring fashion. So long as the sermon is fully grounded in the Bible-the gospel. I think that sometimes the Baptists can go to far one way and that the Pentecostals can go to far the other way, that is way I really enjoy this church because they try to stay balanced not going overboard one way or the other.

Even on this board I think that just because we all do not agree on some of the theology, that it should not separate us in the love of our savior for one another. We should always have respect for others beliefs on theology and not let that bother us or separate us in any way. whoever is wrong it is the Holy Spirits job to reveal it to that person not ours. Our job is to love support and pray for one another. Anyway it sounds like I am preaching now so i will stop here.
