Seems all I do nowadays is polls...

Well, this one is a bit different because there are no clear responses.

I've become curious about the spectrum of beliefs in our forum. So, do you go to church (a physical one, online churches don't count)? If so, what denomination is it? Do your beliefs generally align with those of that denomination? If not, describe your beliefs.

I attend a non-denominational church. My beliefs are rather unique, I doubt there is a denomination out there that would fit my beliefs perfectly.

I believe in the father, the son and the holy ghost, but not necessarily in the trinity.

I believe the bible contains the word of God, but I do not believe the bible is the word of God (I don't consider it infallible or subscribe to sola scriptura theology).

I believe in spiritual gifts, but I do not believe in exalting one gift above others or using its presence or lack thereof as evidence of salvation.

I prefer modern worship over hymns.

I place very little importance on traditions.

I believe in free will and strongly disagree with "once saved always saved" theology.

I believe there are spiritual laws by which even God must abide.

Finally, I am very much opposed to "name it and claim it" Christianity, the Word of Faith movement, the teachings of Joel Osteen, and all other branches of the prosperity movement.
