Dakota, first, I'd like to say, you could have responded without the sarcasm.

Hey, this would be a dull dull world without sarcasm. Sarcasm is my middle name. :) I was trying to be humorous which doesn't always come thru in print.

Some kids my age, have everything.

Ever heard of the phrase the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence? Believe me, they aren't as happy as you assume. And what were you saying about assuming? Oops, there that sarcasm is again. :) Everyone has hard times at some points in their lives. True that you can find people that have it better than you, but you can also find people who have it worse. God never promised us an easy life, just that He would love us and help us thru it.

SO, at the end of this, please tell me that I'm supposed to believe for a second, that
1) I'm supposed to see a bigger plan here, which don't or I will laugh that post off the forum.
or
2) Really supposed to believe the great God above really gives a crap.


Sounds like you've got it pretty rough right now. I don't know if there is a bigger plan in all that or not. What I do know is that God's ultimate plan for you is to love you and fellowship with you in Heaven for all eternity. Compared to eternity, the crap we go thru here on Earth is less than the blink of an eye, of no more consequence than a sliver in your finger. And God does give a crap.

Let me give you an analogy. Picture yourself walking thru a forest where all the trees represent all the bad stuff happening to you. As you navigate thru the forest, for some reason you keep running smack into the trees, one by one, and it hurts. But you are so close to those trees in your face that they block your view of the paradise that you are heading for just beyond the forest. Take heart Youth. The trees won't always be smacking you in the face. There will be good times too on your journey.
