I said "slightly" for a reason. I do think there is value in it for certain people. But ultimately, it boils down to how dominant an issue it is in your life. If this condition were central to where you are in your life, then I could see the value in getting support from others in the same situation. By the same token, if you are a heterosexual, happily married, individual who also happens to be attracted to young boys but who has already learned to deal with that in a healthy way, I would discourage you from taking on the label of BL. You'd be better served by continuing with your life as if we weren't here than by joining a community and slowly making what was previously a minor part of your life central to who you are.
