Christian BoyLove Forum #63339
Welcome to our forum.
I agree with what Dakota said. Furthermore, I think that if these people were rejecting you or acting out in any way against you, you would be correct in wanting to seek out another church. But so far, it doesn't sound like that is going on. You really shouldn't be abandoning your church family if they haven't done anything wrong. I have felt the way you have before. Although in my case, my incorrect thought patterns revolved around the idea that if they only knew how I felt, then they would reject me. The key to overcoming those issues for me was in the realization that this is the way God made me and it's ok to be a bl; we aren't judged by our thoughts but by our actions. Being a BL (or bisexual) is not wrong, I firmly believe it is the way God intended for you to be. That's not to say he expects you to physically act out your desires, but he does intend for you to live your life with that attraction. There is nothing wrong with being attracted to a certain kind of person, the sin arises when you act out (mentally or physically) with someone you shouldn't be acting out with. |
