I've been saying this to MAAs and nons for years now and it has been getting worse in Western countries. I believe this is true because it makes sense not just because I am a BL and like the idea of kids having independence. I am lucky I had experiences like this unlike many people now. I have definitely seen many many scared boys, fear of so many things I would just do when I was young and what almost every generation before me has done. Go out and explore your world, make mistakes, get hurt, and learn something in the process.
