Does that make any sense to anyone else?" Yup - God created the forces which give rise to earthquakes, but man doesn't have to live on the San Andreas fault line if he doesn't want to. Except he has to because God says he must. And if man doesn't live there, well God will smite the sinner for being disobedient anyways. You can't win with God. Nuff said.
