If we are truelly Gods children, then we will not continue to live in sin. Thats not to say that from time to time, we won't give into temptation, a random "surrender" to temptation, leading us to sin, isn't the same as "living in sin".
1John 3:9 says; "No one who is born of God will continue to sin"
