Hi again J, I was told to read an earlier post between you and Ben, by my good friend and brother, Andy, and I am glad I did. But I must say I really feel for you about this and I trully hope you can find a replacement for your bass guitar! I will keep that in my prayers as well. It seems as if we are VERY similar my friend. I play electric lead and rythm guitar. My brothers, when I was arrested and put in jail, sold both of my babies which were two fo the best Fender Stratocasters I have ever had the privalege to own and play. Loosing a guitar is just awful, it's more like loosing a very close friend! Anyway, by God's grace and endless love, I have mannaged to buy another Strat with a very limmited income and this one, believe it or not, is actually better than the other two put together, although I still miss them a lot. Do you mind if I ask what kind of music you are into? I love the Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Soul, and (of course), good 'ole Rock-n-Roll! Mostly the Christian forms of these but I still get into some great non-Christian artists as well. Right now I am playing with the guy who actually re-built my guitar (very nicely I might add) and we are putting together material enough to be able to do some small gigs around town. Right now we are currently hosting an open-mike jam session every night at a local Eagles club and this has been a LOT of fun!!! Anyway, I just thought I would mention that...
