Making the boundaries clear

seems to be what you need to do; which is where a clear belief on the traditional Christian teaching on sexual relations makes things easier (let's not get into a discussion about the validity of that just now....). The point is that if you can find some occaision to refer to the fact that you think that sex should always be between a married couple (maybe in talking about some film you've just watched with him) you're laying down your boundary. Which is not to say this is an easy trick to pull off, but seems to offer some hope of doing so.... because you are in EXTREMELY dangerous waters otherwise! But a substantial bonus is that once that boundary has been established, then you are free to enjoy the physical side of the relationship to the maximum appropriate extent, because he will interpret your actions as you want them to be interpreted.

Does that make any sense?
