I'm extending my question again... from my earlier post. /messages/15407.htm it does not seem that my Christian BCer friends post much here... why is that? Ben's reply /messages/15419.htm MY answer to your question would be in the definition of what a Christian really is. In Matthew 7:21 Jesus says, "Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Now what God's will really is I believe is open to quite a bit more interpretation. But the point is that many people have grown up in "Christian" homes, in that if you asked them their religion they would say Christian, but are not really Christian in their hearts. Let me state that Christianity is not an "exclusive club"! The door is open to anyone believes that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior! It's that simple. I nor can anyone question wether or not someone is a Christian! That is between them and God. We can not pass that judgement. The BL/BCer friends of mine state that they are Christians... they give me no reason to dout that. So... the "they might not really be a Christian" theory I don't think fits in this case. I guess this is not an easy question to answer. I just find it interesting that this group seems to be comprised of a different group of Christians and then the Christians I know that primarily post on BC. Anymore ideas as to why there is not much "crossover" of Christians between BC and this board? -Jiggles |
