- it worries me the degree to which boys are more attractive than your girlfriend. That said, the belief in 'Western' culture that marriage can only be on the basis of 'being in love with one another' is very wrong - especially as it encourages a belief that when you aren't 'in love' with her / him anymore you can walk away from the marriage. It would be useful if some of our married visitors could comment (though they are a rare species...) And perhaps posting on Open Hands might also provide a wider perspective about the issues.
