Can we explain God's existence with physics alone?

In reply to So? Why don't you just explain submitted by A.I. Watcher on May 15 2002 09:44:07

I'm sorry if I insulted you. I misunderstood.

You prefer your own belief system whether there's any thought behind it or not.

I don't agree. What I'm saying is: If God is outside time and space, and is not a purely physical being, then maybe it's worthless to argue His existence with physics, mathematics, and man-made reasoning? Maybe Einstein was so caught up in trying to explain everything with physics and mathematics that he never gave himself the opportunity to think outside of the box (supernaturally). I don't feel sorry for his genius, but I do feel sorry that he didn't allow himself the chance to experience God the way I've been able to experience Him. Perhaps it's not a good thing to argue God's existence with thought alone, and certainly not experience alone, but maybe with both thought and experience, both the physical and the spiritual?

You seem to think that the fact that someone who thinks hard and evaluates his beliefs is someone you should feel sorry for.

Not at all. We need more thinkers and seekers. I truly believe that those who seek will find.
