"If a child runs up to me and wants to give me a hug, why do I always have to stop and wonder who's looking and what that other person might think if he/she sees me giving the child a hug?" WOW! Do you really feel that way? That is sad. Why should you concern yourself with what others think or may say? There is after all, NOTHING WRONG OR ILLEGAL with offering someone a hug. And if a child (or an adult) runs up to you and wants a hug, what are you suppose to do, say "No"? and refuse to give him a hug? It really is an indictment upon our twisted society, that people have reached this point. What have we become? |
