Again, you insist in putting words in my mouth. Get real, Drifter, here is what you said in response to the original question about why masturbation is a sin (and I quote)… It’s because it is lust. You then went on to say (again, I quote)… I am assuming masturbation is accompanied by sexual thoughts… the vast majority of adults have sexual fantasies while masturbating. I did not address the minute portion of adults who do not have sexual fantasies while masturbating… I do equate fantasies with lust… Okay, let’s string this all together into three basic premises to your position since you obviously have a problem remembering what you yourself posted… 1. Masturbation is a sin (blanket statement, no exceptions) 2. Most masturbation is accompanied by sexual thoughts / sexual fantasies (here you equate these two by interchanging the terms in the same paragraph while at the same time clarifying you’re not talking about masturbation without sexual thoughts / sexual fantasies) 3. Sexual fantasies (and hence sexual thoughts) are equated with lust. I summarized your position as follows… …your position is that sexual thoughts equals lust… To which you then responded with the first line cited above and the following… How about next time you listen to what my position is instead of imposing what you believe my position is? So why don’t you clarify your position for me since your previous posts obviously don’t reflect what you believe (and somehow you think that’s my fault – how about trying to organize your thoughts into coherent sentences that have meaning next time). If you wanted to speak against the sexual thoughts = lust position, you should have… discussed it with someone who believes that. You are the one who used the term ‘sexual thoughts’ together with masturbation and used it synonymously with ‘sexual fantasies’ and declared the latter to be the same as ‘lust’.
