Probably a good idea

Youth pastors, good ones anyway, can get VERY close with their kids. It requires the utmost in character. Kids put complete trust in you.

I think, in order for a christian bl to be able to handle that type of situation, they must build a very large strength in God.

Look at it this way, you are a much more powerful tool for God, to reach out to boys. The thing is, being more powerful, you must refine your workmanship to a fine art, otherwise more damage can be done than good. Once God has shown you how to fine tune your desires, so that it is TRULY the boys soul you are focused on without being distracted by other issues, I believe you can do Awesome work for him.

I am glad that you know what God wants you to do. As for me, I have not felt God's pull to get into ministry. I don't know, exactly what He has planned for me, but I wait patiently to know His will.
