"The criteria for participating at CBF is that you be interested in how Christians deal with being boylovers. Pretty simple."

--How would you define "Christian" then?

"In my view, its not the Christianity that changes, though our understanding of it might."

--Yes, I think that's true.

"So, how would you mix Christianity and BL."

--According to the history of the early movements of believers, it seems that there are several theological angles that this can go. However, one cannot simply can take what is past and expect it to be transplanted whole in the now. What makes some sense to me is not the pure licentiousness of some of the "free love christian sects" per se (what Paul--and "Peter"--were ranting about in some of the letters), but the idea that love of boys (and/or minor girls) is "morally superior" than love of women. How so?
One example: If we take the canonical "Do-not-weep-for-me-women-of-Jerusalem....," as the Messiah was on the way to Gologotha, in addition to the gnostic scripture of "I-have-come-to-take-away-the-power-of-women...," most anything which helps to interrupt the suffering of new souls entering this planet is to be commended, not abhorred. BL, besides being caritas, is also, as contrary to love of child-bearing women, naturally contraceptive, obviously.
