I have briefly tasted life in the film industry as with a group of friends we made a film (not bl based at all), which we hope to release independantly, when it is eventually edited, etc.

Without even seeing your script yet, I have fears that not many people would want to produce the film, based on what I have read about you opening chapter (excerts posted elsewhere).

TV has tackled the problem head-on in various forms in the past. "Cutting Edge" a UK documentary dealt with Paedophilia in general looking at several peoples lives & attitudes towards offenders & bl's in general. It was shown about 4 years ago, I think.

Another program also tracked the progress of a police investigation, covering two men who had subjected girls to abuse over a long period of time. (Ref: The Hunt For Britains Paedophiles - Part 1 & 2.)

A BBC drama which was shown once, attracted huge negative publicity as it followed a girl's life of abuse at home & continued with abuse in foster care. The papers reported that SS wanted to interview the girl actor, regarding the show, as it felt that she might've been harmed by the production of the program. (Can't remember name of program.)

A Canadian TV film was also made regarding two parts of a child's life around a Catholic Run Boarding school, in which one of the priests was the offender. (Film name was something about St.Michaels or similar.) The first part covered his childhood, the next was how the kid coped with the abuse long after the event in adulthood. It also concentrated on the Trial & the break-up of the offender's family life.

Cutting Edge also brought to my attention the plight of Street Children in Russia & another study was conducted by an Irish Priest who went undercover to report on overseas sex trafficing. Both programs were quite disturbing, but helped me become a better person & give me resolve & strength to try to ensure that I would not offend myself.

I regard myself as a protector (being opposite of predator), I have real-life incidents that I would like to put into a film, cause it shows positive man/boy relationships in action & does not go out of the way to put anyone down.

I understand the principle behind your work, but maybe the public is not ready to hear the Paedo's side of the story yet.
