Can spirituality help me?

In the past several weeks I have found myself somewhat interested in religion. I have been sort of seeking a way to relieve myself from heavy stress and even fear, looking for jobs while thinking about my relationship with a young friend of mine and worrying about the ones with BLs. That may not sound like alot, but it is to me. While I was in downtown, I have crossed upon many people giving away this and that Christian thing, um... you know (I don't know what you call these people) the ones giving away pamphlets. All kinds, Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox you name it. While I have given it some thought, I'm not sure yet whether I can go ahead and start praying, geting references and attending church. I know I don't have to do all that, but I'd love to get some form of relief. I guess it all just comes down to whether or not I believe in God. To be honest, I do, but not in the sense of a person who actually floats in the clouds somewhere. What does it require, where, when and how do I start if I want to? I thought I'd ask these questions here since I am attracted to boys and you are the ones I can relate to the most. Can anyone help me on this matter? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Love |
