Hi wzzzy, Read James 2, especially verse 9. Perhaps your statement is technically true, be we are guilty by virtue of Adam's sin, and are condemned to death because of it, without the saving grace of Him who came to this world and remained sinless throughout His time here in the flesh, the difference being that, Jesus' soul came directly from God the father; His fleshly body came from His mother, Mary. If this were not the case, He would have been born in sin, the same as we are. We got our soul from our father, which goes all the way back to the loins of Adam. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice; the Lamb "without spot or wrinkle." Had He sinned, His sacrifice would have been in vain. "Just my 2¢" as John Guard would say! love, Andy |
