If the bible really is God-breathed (2 Tim 3:16) then what gives us the right to interpret it according to human standards. Ben, If we are not to use the "human standard" what other possible frame of reference, as human beings, would we have? The trick is, from my point of view, to use a range of human experience to emulate the omniscience of God. Go for the big picture -- love, faith and charity -- and don't get caught up in all those details. Peace of Christ, Bach |
