Hi Chris, Yeah, I'm pretty busy, myself, I'm afraid. I have to pick and choose very carefully what threads to participate in because I just don't have time for everything. I have a date to go sign a boy's cast right now but I'll answer what I can and try to get back to you with more specifics later. The info I quoted is from memory at the moment - I was a gay/HIV activist for a few years and read a lot of Queer Theory. The 10% figure is from Kinsey as later validated by Masters. The low-end figure I mentioned was reported in a major study first publicized in 1996. I apologize for not remembering the author. The paper was discredited by a large number of researchers as reporting a figure far lower than ought to be correct. I believe the methodology was serverely criticized. The figures I cite for childhood sexual experimentation are also from Kinsey. Jim |
