Sexual thoughts and sin

The question for me is "what is lust?" Are all sexual thoughts lust? I don't think so, otherwise we're saying sex is bad, when it is part of the way God created humans. But then, do we say that for a straight man, sexual thoughts can be okay, but for a BLer, all sexual thoughts are sin? That seems like a double standard. How can BLers have sexual thoughts that are not sinful? Mark
