Great question! I'm being taught the same thing, and I'm Southern Baptist! I've been taught that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one & the same,Think of it like He is one person with three roles , does that make sense? And if we understood everything God did we wouldn't be worthy of God's love, that is my opinion. John 14:9 Jesus answered:"Don't you know me,Philip,even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me?" I hope that helps some, and I do agree with something Shari said in an earlier post, It has to work for you. :o) |
