Thanks for the response. I'd really like to get into an in-depth discussion on this subject, but I realize that, (a) I don't have the time to do it justice, and, (b) I don't have enough knowledge of the scientific research (that you do have). I feel a little out of my depth. I will ask a question, though: Early childhood development research shows that sexual identity is developed by the age of 3 and constancy by 6. Do you happen to know how these conclusions were reached? Thinking back on my childhood, I have absolutely no recollection of any sexual attraction to anyone else prior to puberty. I was very sheltered and naive, and I admit my memory isn't all that good, but still, isn't 3 - 6 very early to start detecting attractions (and concluding that they are "fixed for life")?
