This article is interesting and worth a read.



I think the article has a point but in my experience it generalizes too much. I have been to some conservative churches and plenty of conservative friends and have not seen evidence of what the article says. I have seen some of their books, movies, websites, etc so I know it is out there.

Purity IS important but considering things like any kind of sexuality bad and trying to eliminate it CAN lead to all kinds of mental issues.

I also thought this might be controversial here and be an interesting discussion.
