So this usually happens? People routinely 'pair off'. I take it that you were not really expecting that. I sort of did expect it, I just didn't know if it was exclusively that type of people on the scene or not.

I don't understand what you mean when you say how would it be possible to stop? Couldn't you just, you know... stop going? And learn to live with not having someone to shag every week? It's got to be a psychological addiction, not a physical addiction, so I can't see it being too bad. Really you have to let a psychological addiction develop, it doesn't just hit you.
