On-line Resources
Christian Boylove Forum
CBF is a discussion board created to provide a friendly, safe place
where boylovers can be honest about their feelings and struggles with sexuality
and faith, without fear of destructive criticism or harassment. It is a
place for mutual encouragement, support, and advice, as boylovers seek
to deal with their sexuality and society's reaction to it in responsible
and healthy ways, and to live out their lives with integrity.
Religious Debate
Chat
http://krusty.phix.com/~menetor/rdc/forum.cgi
Originally started as "a place for people of committed religious convictions
to debate with boylovers," this discussion board has developed into a forum
where boylovers can discuss religious issues. Both religious and nonreligious
boylovers post here. RDC has also proved to be a popular board for boylovers
who wish to discuss their encounters with religious abuse.
Unconditional Love -- http://www.philianews.org/ul/
Philia -- http://www.philianews.org/ph/
These two sites provide information on the ways in which minor-attracted
adults approach their faith lives and the ways in which faith communities
are attempting to support and guide them. Both sites are founded
on the belief that a sexual attraction to children or youths does not in
itself alienate a person from the divine. Unconditional Love
provides interfaith resources for adults who are attracted to minors to
help sustain them in their religious lives. Philia covers
news from religious support groups for adults who are attracted to minors.
Open Hands
http://www.openhands.net/
Open Hands is an online resource for people who have had someone close
to them disclose his or her attraction to minors. It aims to provide
helpful information and links on related subjects, and also to give people
an opportunity to communicate with adults who have a sexual attraction
to children and/or adolescents. The site includes a general discussion
board, a section for personal stories, and a dynamic FAQ which gives visitors
the ability to ask and respond to questions and concerns.
Close Encounters
http://www.closencounters.net/
This project, jointly run by boylovers and non-boylovers, is dedicated
to encouraging dialogue between both groups. The site attempts to reduce
mutual misunderstanding, to find common ground, and to discuss in a civilized
manner the disagreements that separate them. Through getting to know each
other better as individuals and breaking beyond the stereotypes they hold
about each other, participants will be better prepared to tackle these
vitally important issues. |
