What is love? I mentioned the desire of treating a boy as a piece of meat, because I believe we all look at people with sexual desires. Something in us wants to forget God and unite with another or reach the high of sexual ecstacy. For some, the desire occurs by just looking at a particular person. For others, if a relationship begins, these urges come up. For example, heterosexual men in prison turn to one another for sexual gratification. Are these urges to unite with another love? Or are these urges a selfish desire to have an orgasm? With boys, I indeed see the possibility of sex being a way to show "love." I recall a story about a soldier who lost his arms, legs, sight, and hearing. A nurse brought him sexual gratification to help (for a time) alleviate the torment of the soldier. Sex can be an act of love. Also, a man having sex with his wife with tumonial cancer despite her not having hair and being skin and bones can also be an act of love. However, what is love anyway, and what are ALL the ways we can show love to a boy despite having sex? Before acting sexual with a boy, should we consider our intentions? Should we see how this could harm the boy and the relationship? We need to be careful in moving a relationship to sex with anyone we find sexually appealing. I am not convinced either way that a sexual relationship is okay in the eyes of God. The time spent engaging in sex can be time spent away from God, but don't we spend many moments in our lives away from God? God wants us to love one another. What is love? By the way, our sexual desires are only one way in which we do not keep God at the forefront in our lives.
