A couple of interesting posts, but I would like to take your point about Satan one stage further. Does Satan realy exsist, or is he just something that is used to describe a side of our complex nature. There is nothing sinfull about sexual attraction, it's not Satan that puts these thoughts in people's mind, they are there for procreation, so that we as a species survive. True in our case things may have gone a little wrong, but this has nothing to do with the Devil. I also have been wondering for some time, is there really such a thing as good and evil, or can behaviour be seen as social or anti-social. Some may argue that this is the same thing, but it is not as the use of the word evil implies a negative, deliberate force at work. just a few thoughts Dannyboy |
