That Jesus could not have been any clearer when he said to remove those things that cause you to sin or risk being thrown into hell. It simply cannot be said more clearly. It was direct and to the point. If your eye causes you to sin, then pluck it out for it is better to enter the kingdom of heaven with one eye than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. How much clearer can it get? What part of that is unclear? what part of it hints at some meaning other than what he said? I simply dont understand how someone can read those verses and not see how clear it is. How could Jesus make it any clearer? What words would you consider clear enough if saying it directly isnt enough? How much clearer do you want it? Jesus said it! end of story.

As far as at what point do we lose our salvation, that is a matter fit for debating, and it is a debate that I am not interested in getting into. But the fact that Jesus made it blatantly clear that you can lose your salvation is not up for debate, its right there in black and white, straight from Jesus' own mouth.

Ill quote it one more time in case you didnt read it clearly:
Mark 9:43-48 "If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where 'their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.'

I think those verses are very clear, its difficult to ask for anything clearer than that. Simply put, cut off those things that cause you to sin, or risk going to hell. Thats as simple as it gets. Jesus was nice with this one, he didnt use a parable (parables were stories, these verses tell no stories they are simply a direct statement from Jesus), he didnt soften the message or hide it among other teachings, he simply said it. I have difficulty understanding how you dont see that.
