I just looked over quite a few of RF's posts as well as many others, because I truly wanted to see if we, and especially if I, were being insensitive and judgmental. I think that's something we all need to watch out for because it can be easy to slip into that mode, and it's not what God would want. I really don't see what you do. All I see are different people, including RF, stating their opinions and beliefs. Granted there have been a few barbs here and there, mainly between you and Huckleberry. And I must admit that I may have thrown one in also when I compared you to a bully, and I apologize for that. However I don't see the hate that you see. When RF made the animal comment, he said we are expected to rise above OUR animal selves, including himself with the description. That's his perception of what we would be like without God, and I can't for the life of me see how you take offense at that. You act as if he called you personaly an animal. Likewise, the Dahmer comment. I copied and pasted it below. "To liken a typical boylover to a sick twisted child killer would be similar to likening every homosexual to Jeffery Dahmer." Now please tell me how you, or anyone could interpret that to be comparing you or any homosexual to Dahmer? He is using that ridiculously untrue comparison to illustrate the ridiculousness of comparing a typical boylover to a sick twisted child killer. You seem to be very disappointed with this board lately, but I'm not sure what you want. Do you want those with opposing opinions to lie to you? What constitutes hate in your eyes? Disagreeing with you? You seem to want everyone to say homosexual behaviour is ok, and sex with boys would be ok if it weren't for those darned authorities with their laws. I'm sorry, but many here don't have that opinion. Some do. But those who don't believe that way don't hate you because you do. The ironic thing is that RF, more than anyone else, has pointed out how things such as this are between them and God, not them and this board, yet he is the one you have zeroed in on. I'm not trying to insult you, but your recent posts remind me a little of another poster who came here from time to time, AI Watcher. He would take offense at just about anything that didn't confirm his beliefs and would constantly accuse everyone of hatemongering and gaybashing. Don't get me wrong, you're no where near as bad as he was, but your interpretation of the Dahmer post reminded me of him. I would just like to suggest that you take a step back, take some deep breaths, and try to re-evaluate what has been posted here. Most people here are pretty accepting of just about anyone, but don't expect anyone to say homosexual behaviour is ok, if they don't think it is. For the record, my personal belief is that there is nothing wrong with BEING a homosexual, just like there is nothing wrong with BEING a pedophile. However, I also believe that sex outside of marriage is a sin and not ok with God. So that includes gay sex and pedophile sex. If you don't believe that, that's fine with me. I don't think any less of you. It's between you and God. I have absolutely no problem with gays having sex, it's their business. But don't ask me to say I agree with it. Don't ask me to say I don't think it's a sin. But I have my own sins to worry about and that leaves me little time to worry about what I consider sins in other people's lives. I must admit that I have more of a problem with man/boy sex, because that isn't between two adults. It involves a boy whom I believe can be hurt by such activity, even if the boy consents. But even so, I'm certainly not going to hate someone who thinks otherwise. I've rambled on much more than I intended. I just hope you can feel comfortable here, even with people of different views.
