I don't think we can presume to make the rules, nor can we really argue semantics about one word from a tome translated through two languages already.

Of course, "Love" is a very central word in almost all languages, but love means a lot. You could say, "I love my job!" but what if your job was clubbing baby seals?

Physical love? Too easily twisted into punishment for one of the participating parties. There are people with warped minds out there, should their actions be considered "right" because they interpret it as love? Who is it deciding what love is, because you made a quote that we should not be judged by the morality of others?

Hmmm, if that were the case, the Al Qaida were doing the world a favor with Sept 11th. After all, they were acting out of the noblest instincts of "love" for Allah, they thought they were helping their buddies in Palestine rather than completely aggrivating the situation.


Rules... it seems people need them, it seems people hate them. How conflicted we are!
