You could say, "I love my job!" but what if your job was clubbing baby seals? In such case, I would have to ask the baby seals if THEY love your job. I don't believe they would - but it's not mine to speak for the seals; such would be an attempt to usurp the authority which their Creator ordained. There are people with warped minds out there, should their actions be considered "right" because they interpret it as love? What do the parties acted upon interpret it as? What are their feelings, hopes, thoughts, dreams, and desires? Who is it deciding what love is, because you made a quote that we should not be judged by the morality of others? Well - I didn't make them. :) Someone else did. Hmmm, if that were the case, the Al Qaida were doing the world a favor with Sept 11th. After all, they were acting out of the noblest instincts of "love" for Allah, they thought they were helping their buddies in Palestine rather than completely aggrivating the situation. Arguments have been made - but they forgot to consider whether the people most directly affected would view it as an act of love, goodness, and kindness. |
