Adoption

I'm not sure I can imagine adoption, to be honest. I think I would be in a completly different role, but as I've never had or been a father I can only assume from the other fathers I've seen. I know that for each YF I have, I have a different role (or multiple roles) in their life. I think the discussion about AF/YF sexuality plays into this kind of relationship as well. If it's indeed possible to have a positive sexual relationship between an adult and child, then it's possible that such a role could be a part of an adoptive relationship. I know BLs who have fallen in love with a YF, they became involved, and the YF ended up being adopted. The BLs already were the YFs father in the child's eyes, and so the adoption was really a matter of technicality. The YFs have all grown up just as happy and healthy as any other kid I've known, to the best of my knowledge. So, the question still comes down to, is it really black and white?
