Hi Platonic, We do have a new regular poster here now, Maveric, who has adopted his YF. If you haven't read his posts (especially his first ones in which he tells his story...), I think you would really get a blessing from them. I'm not sure how far down you would have to look for them (or if they are in the "Old Posts" section), but you might try some time. Anyway, I think that in life there are very few absolutes. And the same can be said about faith. Our faith is not a thing which is seperate from the rest of our life, it is actually the thing which holds all the rest together. When we are adopted by God into His family (there's another use of the word 'adoption' for you, by the way) our life becomes His life in a very real way. And God knows exactly what it is like to live here in a fallen world. He did it when He became one of us, and He is doing it now through us. What a love He has, what a Father He is! But I must still stick with my orrigional concept of Fatherhood. I just don't see that sex would be a thing that a father and son would share. I can see a father teaching his son about sex and sexuality, but when it comes to actually doing it with his son, no...I cannot stretch my "gray" boundry that far.
