To blame NAMBLA for what some of its members did is the same as blaming the republicans (or another pro-life group) for those few people who murdered abortion doctors and belonged to the republican party (or whichever pro-life group they belonged to which you want to blame). I know people in NAMBLA. NAMBLA is not even bread and butter BL anymore. They are now focused on TBL, which is where they are more likely to make some progress as far as changes to the age of consent. I dont agree with them...but they are harmless as an organization. Of course they might have some psychotic members. But Im sure there are psychotic people in any organization. These are people so opposed to violence that they reffer to circumcision as mutilation of the genitals, and portray it as a horrible torture that no child should have to endure. These people are so against violence that they disapprove of all types of corporal punishment. Yeah, they have some people in there who are nuts. But...think about it...what organization doesnt have a couple of whacked out members? Heck...Im sure we do ourselves (they just havent come out of the woodwork). |
