Thank you Heather, for the fair and generous report of our inability to handle this topic. As you know, I'm working on a report/commentary of the Focus on the Family conference on Youth and Homosexuality. At the conference Dr. Nicolosi of NARTH made accusations that the American Pscyhiatric Association and American Pscyhological Association are moving on the same path toward normalization of pedophilia that they occured with the normalization of homosexuality. Now this puts me in a bind because I'm doing a commentary on the FOTF talks, and as we've learned from experience it's quite hard to limit pedophilia threads once they've been opened. I've decided that the thing to do is to simply give a "pedophilia controversy" links page. No pullquotes, no commentary, just links which people can follow if they want to. I'll link to your article in Greenbelt news, among others. I do so appreciate what I've learned from you and from that article. I'm sorry that we are have found that we need to compromise on inclusiveness. Our mission, to build respectful relationships across the homosexuality divide, is so difficult and our bridge is so fragile, that it simply cannot bear the weight of the boylover and pedophilia controversies.
