Hi Screwed Up, First of all I would like to welcome you here. As some of the folks here like to say,"You are not alone"! And you are not! When you are here, you are among friends and brothers in Christ. And when you are living your life everyday, Jesus is always with you. I don't know what to tell you about thinking about boys all day long. I guess I used to do this but now it isn't all day long anymore. I think about them, usually, only if I see one, either in real life, or perhaps on t.v.. And the sexual thoughts are usually not too difficult to put in thier place. I just remember that I am GOING to have sexual thougts when I see a young boy no matter what. And I never really see the initial thought as a sin. I think it depends on what we do with that thought. I am also celebate and so I have resolved that even if masturbation is a sin, it is not as bad as any alternative action. Remember that Jesus is always with you and He knows exactly what you are going throug, every little, and big, struggle. He is with you to help you through each and every one. And if you slip up (which we ALL do), He is also there to forgive you, EVERY TIME!! Not condemn you. Remember that you are a precious child of the living God, you cannot ever be condemned for anything, anymore. And remember that God is a patient and loving father who is constantly working in your life to make you ever more like Jesus. God actually thinks higher of you than you think of yourself, no matter what happens in a day, no matter what you do or how badly you might "screw up". I think the biggest thing He might tell you right now would probably be, "I love you....don't worry." I will be praying for you. And welcome again brother. Your brother in Christ, Chris |
