Dear Tim, I will pray for you. Know that you are loved by God and by us here. As I told Bruce, I believe that BL is a sexual orientation, and orientation is just like any other human characteristic: there are variations from person to person. No one should feel ashamed of it. Remember the apostle Paul who pleaded with God to take away his thorn, and God replied "My grace is sufficient for you." The fact that your orientation has not changed definitely does not mean that you are condemned or rejected, or that you are not sincere enough. There is nothing wrong with love for boys, only with hurting them. It is our task to help each other learn how to express our deep love for boys in ways that are beneficial to them.
