That commandment was for everyone that intends to have sex! Jesus was an exception!! He was God incarnate! As for "some don't marry for the Kingdom of God", that refers to celibacy!! Especially monastic celibacy! It does not mean homosexuality and Pedophilia are legitimate alternatives to marriage! And as for those "some societies" non of them are Christian! Therefore what they do is *STILL* wrong! Find my *ONE* Judeo-Christian society that has *EVER* permitted children to marry adults! I DEFY you to! And find me *ONE* Judeo-Christian society that has *APPROVED* man-boy sexual unions! Not a *SINGLE* one! As to allow man-boy unions would be a direct violation of the Biblical prohibition against homosexuality! For this latter see I Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1:24-26, Leviticus 18, and Leviticus 20:13! |
