Jesus' love

Presuming that Jesus was heterosexual, we conclude that Jesus loved women who he may have been tempted to lust after.

That's an interesting way of thinking about Jesus, I think, and very valid too.

In my opinion, with Jesus' love extended to all mankind and his sacrifice made for all mankind, his love for the men around him led him to also be tempted to lust after them, just as much as for the women in his life. Think of the close relationship he had with the apostle John, "the disciple whom Jesus loved".

Think too of how the writer to the Hebrews puts it (4:15): "we have a High Priest who was tempted in all ways, just as we are." That includes the homosexual temptations just as much as the heterosexual ones.

Good point, that there is no law against loving the one you're attracted to.
