Is God looking down at us, or is He also within us creating the feelings of guilt in order that we confess that we need Him? There's a hole in everyone's heart, placed there for us to recognize our need for Him WE have desires for boys. Others drink to fill the hole. Others get a gambling high. Still others work all the time to keep from having to explore that hole. Some strive for fame. Some look fore another to fill the void. Others buy and buy in order to perk themselves up with a new toy or gadget. And on and on and on. We in this group all know our desires, and thus, we have the advantage over others who, according to society, have more acceptable sins. We know more than anyone the frustrations of a life in which we sometimes want something that cannot be possesed. The sexual desire cannot really fufill us. If we had sex with a boy, how long would the realtioship last? In reality, sex can only fufill us for the time we are having sex...thus, it can never truly quench that hole I spoke about earlier.

Yet I wanted to say, I do NOT believe He is simply sitting out there watching us deal with our "obsession." He is working IN us to make us draw closer to Him and use us in building boys up and not tearing them down. Our gift of being able to love a boy in the depth that we do can bring on an everlating love only through God. He can connect us with a boy in a spiritual way, and thus bring us the real love we seek. This spiritual connection far outweighs the thrill of the moment of a sexual moment we could have if we cross the line and fufill the sinful desires of our heart. We are not perfect, and I do realize that by investing our time and energy on a boy, we run the risk of Satan screwing things up. We might fail and have sex, yet God has the grace of forgiveness and will pick us up. To prevent this in the first place, we must draw closer to God. Thus this desire has only one truth: In order to survive, we must lean on God. It is a gift! Praise God! He loves us, really He does!!

Over and over again, God has brought boys into my life, who were sad, in despair, who had lost hope, and He has used me as a shining star (despite my failings) to raise them up and bring us into a closer walk with God and make the connection occur that we all seek. Used to think I was bad and that GOd should change me. But we all sin, and if we are consumed by guilt, we never come to recognize the other ways in which we sin. Thus, we cannot grow to improve all the aspects of our lives which need improvement, not just this aspect of loving boys.

God so loved us that He gave us this gift to love boys and bring out that love in boys that has been locked up by society's pressures to tell boys to be tough. It's been locked up by drunken fathers who beat their boys. It's been locked up by fathers who show their sons they don't care. When the heart of a boy is opened, the angels sing! The boys love towards us ripples outward and creates in them possibilities to love and make this world a better place.

Who can reach in? It begins with us. The soul of a boy whose hurt is deep, in some cases, can only be reached by us, for we are the ones with this special gift to build up, to love boys in a unique way. This is truly cool. This love is deeply connected to God when we sit back and think about the gift of being a boy lover. It's a gift! May God help us be the men we can be and use us in the way HE has intended to use us. And when we fail in thought or even in "real life" may God forgive us and take us back as He has done time and time again. He loves us!!! LIVE!!!!!
