| No, thinking about sex is not a sin. Hopefully you can understan that this is not the point of the for-message. Lust is a sin. It is one of our deeper darker characteristics, and holds us back. And no, I could never honestly say that I am not guilty of this my self at times. But the part that you seem not to grasp about the barberis punishment that you feel we celibrate is in fact the love and devotion Christ had for all mankind to go through such torture and turmoil. This is what we celebrate. Also, Once A Boy, I feel that this is an important issue to bring about. Salvation comes through repentence. This means to turn your back on your shortcomings, and not only to accept them, although that is important to remember as well. Only then can we hope to grow closer to God and become better than we are. Please understand that from what I've read in most of your messages, I haveutmost respect for your oppinion and generally agree, but I felt that this should be pointed out for any on-viewing readers as well, to save any confusion.
