Part of the problem is that "such beautiful and wonderful things as people loving one another" can sometimes be anything but.

Take the young gay man I spoke to yesterday, who has become full of deep bitterness because of the Gay Community's promises of "liberation", which have left him psychically scarred and barely even able to look you in the eye, from the lack of commitment, the seeking of self's pleasure found in said Community.
